The vast majority of High Frequency authors are people we know well. We are actively seeking just a few more authors for our upcoming catalogues. This window of opportunity will be open for a short time, only for ten days this time. Pitch us from August 7-17. We are looking for books of all genres and subgenres in Fiction, Nonfiction and Poetry. We do not publish plays or scripts. We will consider longer works, up to 120K words. 

MORE ABOUT HIGH FREQUENCY! HF is a hybrid press. We work in cooperation with our writers. If you're not familiar with the hybrid structure, please have a look at other hybrid presses for context. There is a flat fee involved--we are not traditional publishers. We are a small hybrid. This structure is what we came up with, so that we can publish books we love. Our cost is below market, and we offer a lot of perks.

Our mission is to publish innovative, interesting books. Books that are overlooked by gatekeeping traditional publishers. 

What do we offer that is different from the big hybrids? First of all, we only work with a handful of authors each year, and we only take on projects we absolutely love. Also: each writer gets a special E-Zine (a mini EPUB called a LightSpeed, that is put out pre-publication) and 25 copies of their book. Also: writers coming on board now will get free TWH conference attendance (for as long as we continue to run the conference). And writers can order their own books at cost from IngramSpark, which has great distribution in the US and abroad. Writers own those books outright.
