THE FRIDA FILES BY LISA SHATTO GLASGOW (DEBUT NOVEL: TECH THRILLER) *PREORDER*

$35.00

Kris and Isabelle are brilliant women at the helm of their glittering AI startup. Together they'd created a hauntingly life-like virtual Frida Kahlo piercing, vivid, uncannily human—and set to change how humans learn. When Isabelle is found murdered, Kris is shattered.

A loner with a haunted past and a mind built for puzzles, Kris is left with questions—and a growing suspicion that the police are getting it all wrong. Grief-stricken and raw, she begins to pull at the threads of Isabelle’s final days. She plunges into a shadowy world of tech moguls, buried government projects, and digital ghosts. And she uncovers a conspiracy so explosive, they will kill to keep it buried.

“Lisa Glasgow is that rare storyteller who can masterfully balance character and plot, while knocking you out with her lush prose.”

—May Cobb, bestselling author of The Hunting Wives and All the Little Houses

“What a wonderfully intense, fresh, and gripping read! The Frida Files is atmospheric and urgent, deeply affecting and thoughtful. Lisa Glasgow is a powerful and bold storyteller, an exciting new voice in fiction.”

—Rebecca Hanover, bestselling author of The Last Applicant

“A whip-smart thriller crackling with tension and intrigue. Ride along with Kris Dunn as she investigates her friend’s death and uncovers a dark side to the gaming industry, one where the line between fiction and reality is blurred and “collateral damage” is just another term for R&D.”

—Henry H. Neff, bestselling author ofThe Witchstone and Impyrium

“A thrilling read. At the intersection of Frida Kahlo, AI and violent gaming, is a woman who is searching for the truth behind a string of terrible crimes. The tension is immense and no one is who they seem. Intelligent and compelling, with an open heart, this is a story for now.”

—Melissa Goode, award-winning author of Ordinary Human Love

"The Frida Files is an immersive, exhilarating thriller that explores the shadow side of technology, corporate greed and prioritizing profits at all costs. This timely cautionary tale steals your breath from the very beginning, and doesn't let up until the piercing conclusion."
